Established in 2007 in Ennice N.C. Blue Star Home Repair started as Budget Fix-it and fabrication, A welding and fabrication shop. With customers coming in and out of the shop asking for references to home repair companies and hearing their horror stories, something had to be done. It was at that time we opened our doors wider and became a handyman service. This was the best decision we could have made. Work came flooding in and the rest is history. In the early morning hours of 8-9-2020 a 5.1 earthquake rocked Alleghany county N.C. With years in emergency services our owner felt the need to help. With the N.C. aid that came to the effected area and damaged were soon found to be worse than expected and many repairs exceeded the threshold for unlicensed companies and a great need was created. That is when the decision was made to become a licensed company. In October of 2020 we became a licensed commercial and residential contractor with a multi state license. Since then we have been providing Alleghany county and surrounding communities with unsurpassed excellence of workmanship that is evident in our full scale builds as well as our home repairs.
